LIKE A BREEZE!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) After a few weeks I can say our kitchen has been transformed by our new range hood! With classic design, it functions like magic with barely a breeze and with various light settings.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We find our island hood meets our expectations in most ways. The design is very nice and fits well with our decor. Sound levels and suction are good and as expected for a premium brand. Features are also very good, we especially like the automatic feature that turns the fan on when it senses heat from below. One little gripe is that the control panel doesn't have backlighting so if you are in a dim kitchen, finding the buttons you want to push on the panel to turn on the light or the fan can be frustrating. A low level backlight that is on constantly would be helpful.

Installation parts not included and do not exist.

Bought this Hood a year before installation went to install it and the upper and lower horizontal brackets are missing which are required for installation KitchenAid themselves cannot find the part, no where online shows the parts. Only in the manual that came with the hood shows a diagram of the mount that I need, we cannot find anyone that can locate this part

What’s color temperature of LED task lighting?

We had a few questions on the specs of this unit after purchase. Looking for amp rating of entire unit and color temperature on Four LED Task Lights.

Love the new look in our kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Remodeled our kitchen added a hood over the stove, there was not one in the house prior. Love having a way to vent now. The only issue I have is the controls are not light up, so you have to have a light on to see which button to push. They need to add a light behind the panel, other than that it’s a great product!

36 inch island hood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally received the island hood after a long delay due to availability of components to manufacture the island hood. A beautiful looking appliance with easy to use controls and enough lighting to cover the surface of the Kitchenaid range. My only disappointment was trying to explain to customer service on the need for parts to install the unit. Here in California, the code standards requires a shorter installation bracket to house the unit. The on-line catalog doesn't have parts for this, nor did the customer service agent have any knowledge to help. In the future, hopefully parts to accommodate different building codes in each state can be available.

Nice Unit but Lacking Trim

Happy with the unit except for the black plastic clips(really, couldn't make them out of stainless?) & no trim for the upper vent covers. Screws are showing. Otherwise good unit.

Beautiful appliance

Excellent product
